Representation By Xanadu Art Gallery Established!

April 26, 2011 by | Leave a comment

Well it happened so fast!  First my portfolio preview in the Still Point Art Quarterly magazine and then representation confirmation from Xanadu Art Gallery of Scottsdale, AR.  One thing that this means is that certain pictures on this website will only be available through Xanadu Art Gallery from now on.  These selections might change over time so if you don’t get a buy option on any photo in the gallery you should check here :

These shots were for a contest called “City Scapes”

Such A Day!

I WAS headed to the frame shop but was detained slightly. (for hours) Maybe these views from Noe Valley will help you see why. Some things just must be done!

I Entered The 3rd Ward Open Call Contest

December 17, 2010 by | Leave a comment

I have been doing a lot of studying on the tech side for some time now and working on more REFLECTIONS. Mostly still in the Haight Ashbury but they keep happening wherever I go. The study includes printing and techniques to ready myself for a possible show at the City Art Gallery Co-Op for citizen artists and I have secured an interview in Feb. My new framing guru is offering me a show in May so I’ve been hard at it producing for these venues just in case (which is just a possible plus to my work I’d be doing anyway!).

Well, back to the contest. 2 hours before the deadline I decide to enter this contest. Luckily I had some recent work for an upcoming book all edited and so I dove in. Finished with 12 minutes to spare (deadline 11:59EST) Here’s the link to a slideshow of my entries and voting counts with other criteria toward a bonus prize so do the right thing (please :] I really like all the results of my study and am close to finishing my next book. Post Streetit

Best of the Seasons to you and yours,

Blue Angels Shoot 2010

October 23, 2010 by | Leave a comment

This year I got myself a ticket on the SS Jeremiah O'Brien for a great setting and a more stable shooting platform. There are a few shots included from the previous day's shoot out by the Golden Gate Bridge. Hope you enjoy.

New Focus on "Reflections"

August 22, 2010 by | Leave a comment

Well I finally found a new pocket camera suitable to me (renders RAW images) and a new focus in Reflections. Working with the new camera I went cruisin’ the Haight again for some really ‘out there’ reflections which I’ve added to the gallery. I also spent a short eve in Sausalito for more and I hope you enjoy. I think I’ve found a ‘niche’ – would you agree? I would love to here your thoughts.

LA to Santa Barbara

July 13, 2010 by | Leave a comment

Leaving LA found me in Coach and a different environment entirely. Personal space (both audible & visual) soon became confining at best and drove me to the Observation Car. However that created huge problems with reflections which I finally gave into. You’ll see some evidence in these pictures.

Santa Barbara to SF

July 12, 2010 by | Leave a comment

It was a great trip. I was a little disappointed to be going through New Mexico and Arizona at night but trains and night wait not. So I’ll be content with the friendliness of my fellow passengers and the constant flow of visual stimulation which have given me memories and material for quite some time. But boy, is it good to be home!
